Peter Orrit took over the business in 1989, Peter and his wife Brenda and there 3 daughters all worked at club along with many bar staff over the years. Last night was its final night which included a party atmosphere and a buffet was laid on, guests on the evening included a few faces from the past to say there farewell to Peter and his family on a happy retirement (think he meant he’s going fishing). It was only right that the A team won the Southport snooker league in its final year.
