Southport property manager receives 6 month suspended prison sentence November 28th, 2013 admin Latest News Shares Comments Southport property manager receives 6 month suspended prison sentence Southport property manager Dave Scanlan appeared at South Sefton Magistrates Court this week and pleaded guilty to managing a multiple occupancy property on Bridge Street, Southport (formerly T S Uttley & Son Insurance Brokers) – without the proper licence. He admitted owing the courts almost £50K and subjecting Bridge Street tenants to poor living conditions. The council obtained a warrant to the premises and carried out inspections of the property following complaints from by tenants. Scanlan was given a 2 year conditional discharge for not having a licence and ordered to pay almost £2K costs.
