Southport Prince’s Trust Team 5

Handover Presentation – 26th February 2016

On the 26th February the Southport prince’s trust team organized a Handover Presentation to show what they did for their community project.

We renovated the Southport & District Temperance Society basement on London Street.

As you might of sore in our last article on OTS we were going to turn it into a games room but we had some problems on the way but on the 24th the Southport fire brigade came to do a health and safety inspection because the building had not had an inspection since the 90’s. When the Southport fire brigade came they did there inspection and we did not meet the procedures so we could not turn it into a games room.

Christopher Purcell a member of the prince’s trust team organized most of the community project handover presentation. We managed to get 2 special guests

Brea Carney-Jones (Miss Southport) we also got Councillor Sue McGuire to open the basement at the Southport & District Temperance Society.

Some of the photos are on the Southport & District Temperance Society bran new website created by Christopher Purcell Prince’s Trust Learner
