Sefton council’s Nursery Site on Rotten Row is “Managed by Sefton New Directions and assisted by Fairfield plants”. This is a venture aimed at providing plants, grown locally and on site whilst supporting local growing businesses, sold through the nursery, and via charitable ventures within our community here in the north west.

All our plants, shrubs, trees, vegetables and herbs are grown in conjunction with Sefton New Directions (SND), Adult services.

In March 2013, Fairfield plants undertook the management of the site in conjunction with SND, All our students are members from Sandbrook ATC and whilst at the nursery are undertaking an NVQ course in horticulture.

The site consists mainly of, two large poly tunnels and one large greenhouse with both poly tunnels in full time use and the greenhouse currently undergoing a complete renovation, this renovation can be followed on Facebook, (Just type in Parklodge greenhouse restoration).
