SOUTHPORT OPEN DAY – SUSPECTED STOLEN JEWELLERY March 25th, 2014 admin Latest News Shares Comments SOUTHPORT OPEN DAY – SUSPECTED STOLEN JEWELLERY Merseyside Police is to run an open day at Southport Police Station on Tuesday, 1 April and Wednesday, 2 April after officers recovered an amount of suspected stolen jewellery during an ongoing investigation. The jewellery and photographs of some pieces, which consists mainly of gold items, including rings, chains and bracelets will be on display and officers are asking anyone who has had jewellery stolen in the last six – twelve months to get in contact to make an appointment to attend. Detective Constable Neil Jones said: “If you have been a victim of burglary or theft, I’d ask you to get in contact to make an appointment to view the jewellery and see if it belongs to you. “We’re hoping to reunite people with their stolen items and you may also be able to assist our investigation.” Anyone who wishes to attend the open day should contact DC Francis Reddin on 0151 777 3859 to make an appointment. Note – Proof of purchase or photographic evidence to prove ownership may be required and items must have been reported to stolen.
