Chris Taafe, 53, is running to raise money for the British Lung Foundation. Chris works as a respiratory nurse specialist in Southport Hospital, is running as part of the Liverpool Rock’n’Roll Marathon this Sunday.

“I’m running to raise funds for the BLF because I see patients with various respiratory disorders, and this great charity is an excellent source of information and advice. They help people cope with and understand their diagnosis in practical ways. They help people with any lung condition, pulmonary fibrosis, asthma, bronchiectasis to name a few. This is going to be a personal challenge. I’m going to get pretty breathless myself whilst going for this!”

Chris will be running 13.1 miles this Sunday, 14th June. To donate visitwww.justgiving.com/Chris-Taaffe1
