Southport man put on sex offenders’ register for five years

James McNally, aged 52, of Milton Street, Southport, was put on the sexual offenders register for 5 years yesterday (Thursday 23rd May 2013) after admitting filming a woman over her fence while she sunbathed in a bikini.

He admitted taking a video on his mobile phone as the woman sunbathed.

He was sentenced  to a community order with a supervision requirement for 3 years, ordered to pay compensation of £200 and a victim surcharge of £60 plus pay £85 Crown Prosecution Service costs.

McNally’s name will remain on the register for five years.
