Southport man gets 5 years 4 months for manslaughter

 Southport man jailed for 5 years 4 months   

Joseph Inglesby, aged 38, of Market Street, Southport, was jailed for 5 years 4 months at Liverpool Crown Court for manslaughter.

The man who ran the Art Shop in Market Street, Southport, punched his 61-year-old drinking buddy so hard it knocked him completely out.  His victim Robert Higgins was put of a life support machine in hospital but was turn off on August 14 after his health deteriorated. 

The argument was over a £10 loan which Mr. Higgins borrowed a few days earlier.

Inglesby admitted a charge of manslaughter and was sentenced to 5 years 4 months jail.
