The end of term saw the College in a celebratory mood as staff and students took part in KGV’s annual Prize Giving ceremony

The event was compered by Chair of Governors, John Rostron, and a range of students were recognised not only for their academic achievements but more generally for their contributions to College life.

The Philip Holland Award for English – Jess Magill

The Old Georgians’ Association Student Award – Frazer Ray

The Nicholas Holt Award for Business – Linda Sidwell

The Ambalal Trivedi Award for Medicine – Polly Simpson

The David Hall Memorial Prize for Music – Matthew Smith

The Hilary Royden Award for Law – Klaudia Stec

The Duncan Burton Award for Economics – Niamh Sweeney and Jamie Hepworth

The Creative Arts Award – Ellie Turner

The Sports Scholarship – Tom Walsh

The Sue Laidler Community Award – Lucy Wright

The David Sutton Award – Rachael Duxbury, Kate Elms, Rebecca Gorton, Flur McDonald, Amy Magill, Keziah Rea-Bradley, Megan Read, Sophie Willis-Hicks
