Southport Irish Lottery punter in row over winning ticket July 28th, 2014 admin Latest News Latest Uncategorized Shares Comments Southport Irish Lottery punter in row over winning ticket A Southport punter is disgruntled after he thought she won the Irish Lottery on the 9th July 2014. The punter walked into Ladbrokes on Bispham Road, Southport, and placed a lucky dip bet (£1:00 3 numbers draw). When her numbers came in she naturally celebrated his £576 win. When she went to collect his winnings he was told his bet was void because it was placed 1min 28 seconds over the cut off time even though the ticket clearly shows the date of that nights drawn, it was either the error of the staff or the computer system the punter said. The local punter thinks she has been badly done to, and believes that it is still a winning ticket. She has spoken to a few people and they strongly believe that they should pay out. Should the bookmakers pay him out? Submit News Contact us with your community, business or sport news.
