Following the success of previous years, Southport Hesketh Round Table is once again organising a family Bonfire & Grand Fireworks Display to be held at Victoria Park, Southport on Saturday 2nd November.
The money raised from this year’s event will be donated to Anthony Nolan Charity, which helps people who have blood cancer and who need stem cell or bone marrow transplants.
Lee Collier, Chairman of Southport Hesketh Round Table said “I have been raising money and awareness of this charity over the past ten years which has included running the New York Marathon to abseiling down the Runcorn bridge, and now we have the chance to help them again”.
On the night we will have a marquee on site giving out information on how to join the donor register, with staff and volunteers from the charity including Sally Wright from Southport who’s 9 years old son is waiting for a donor match.
BEST VALUE EVENT IN TOWN. ADMISSION TO THE EVENT, TWO ADULTS + TWO CHILDREN FOR A TENNER!!!
On top of our normal attractions this year, we have some exciting and new additions to this year’s event, so please keep an eye on the press for updates as they are released.
Once again we are looking for local charities to join us on the night, within the community village. So if you would like more information contact [email protected] and we will be able to send you more information.
