Southport Grandma set for an Austrian hike in Memory of father who passed away of prostate cancer April 8th, 2015 jmr jmr Latest News Shares Comments Mary Cobham is hiking the ruck sack route in Austria in June for Cancer research U.K. Grandma Mary, 53, from Southport said: “I will be covering up to 80 km to a height just under 3,000 meters crossing a glacier and tackling via Ferrara’s with a handful of fear of heights thrown in, over 5/6days. The hike is in memory of my lovely dad Joe who sadly passed away 3 years ago of Prostate Cancer. He was a keen walker and was still climbing mountains at age 79. He was chairman of Southport Ramblers for 15 years, so I urge all men to have a simple blood test for prostate”.
