Southport and Ormskirk stars are shortlisted in annual awards

The shortlist has been announced for the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust 2013 Pride Awards, the annual awards ceremony that rewards staff who’ve gone that extra mile.

Nominations were received from colleagues and patients throughout February and were whittled down to a shortlist made up of staff members and union representatives. The winners will be announced at an awards evening on Friday 10 May at Southport Theatre and Convention Centre.

Sir Ron Watson CBE, Chairman of Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust, said: “We received nearly 200 nominations from patients and staff for this year’s Pride Awards, which shows just how much their work is appreciated.

“Our staff work extremely hard all year round and these awards are a chance for us to celebrate their successes.”
