Air Cadets Help Make Mad Dog A Flying Success

Twenty Five very enthusiastic young cadets and officers from the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (Training) 281 (Southport) Squadron Air Training Corps helped Marshall the Mad Dog 10k Seaside Charity run last February organised by Southport Hesketh Round Table.

Runners said their encouragement along the route was fantastic and helped them keep going right to the end. Past Chairman Dave Snape and Chris Green from Southport Hesketh Round Table are pictured handing over a cheque for £700 to David & Stuart Aspinall and other officers and Cadets from 281 Squadron, based in Upper Aughton Road in Southport.
