Sky internet down in Southport, Formby, Ainsdale, Rufford due to a break in fibre optic cable since 1540 ish

Residents from Southport, Formby, Ainsdale and Rufford have been complaining about Sky’s internet since 3:40 this afternoon. 

Sky have said ‘ You might not be able to get online at the moment due to a problem in your local area. We understand from our on site engineers that the problem has been caused by a fibre—cable break Repair work is underway and we’ll provide an update on progress this evening. We’re sorry for the continued inconvenience. ‘
