Sefton Local Plan – consultation on the Preferred Option

Sefton Council are currently preparing the Local Plan for Sefton. The Plan will shape the future of Sefton for years to come and includes sites that are being proposed for future development.

A major consultation is now underway to help shape the future of Sefton until 2030. Sefton CVS are seeking the views of the Sefton Voluntary, Community & Faith (VCF) Sector on the Sefton Local Plan – a 15-year strategy to encourage economic growth and provide more opportunities for future generations to live and work in the borough. The draft Preferred Option for the Local Plan and supporting documents (including details of how to comment) are available on our web site, in all local libraries and at the Council Offices at Magdalen House, Trinity Road, Bootle, L20 3NJ.

You are invited to attend one of four VCF Sector specific open consultation sessions, to share your views. These will take place on:


Tuesday 3rd September (15:00-16:30 or 17:30-19:00)

Ainsdale Village Church Hall

Station Road, Ainsdale, PR8 3HW


Wednesday 11th September (15:00-16:30 or 17:30-19:00)

Sing Plus Community Centre

53a Cambridge Road, Seaforth, L21 1EZ

Please note, places are restricted to a maximum of 2 per VCF Sector organisation. We would also ask that colleagues attending bring an organisational, not individual, perspective.
