Rubbish bins failed to be emptied along Scarisbrick New Road (A570), Southport.

Rotting food and house hold rubbish is now overflowing into the street on the main route into our beautiful town.

A local resident said:

“These bins have not been emptied for over three weeks now, it’s no wonder there so many rats around here.

I would expect Sefton Council to empty all bins on the main road into Southport.

As you can see the residents are doing their part by filling the bins but the service responsible for collecting are letting us down by not taking them away”.
