Local volunteer litter picking group Rubbish Friends will be working this Saturday to make the Kew Roundabout spick and span in preparation for the Southport Flower Show next week.

One of the event organisers, Councillor Pat Keith explained “This area is a main gateway to Southport and so its important that it is cleaned up.  We don’t want visitors to be put off by the state of the roundabout or surrounding area.”

Rubbish Friend Councillor Sue McGuire added “As the saying goes “Many hands make light work” so if anyone has an hour to spare they are more than welcome to come along and get involved.”
