RTC Biker taken to Southport DGH following Accident on Formby Bypass
The emergency services were called to Formby Bypass at approximately 6.30pm this afternoon (Saturday 6 August 2016) following reports of a RTC.
A motorbike was involved in an accident along the Formby Bypass on approaching Ince Woods.
Passing motorists and members of the public went to the injured rider’s aid and comforted him until paramedics arrived a short time later.
The rider was placed on a stretcher, in a neck brace and taken to Southport & Formby DGH for treatment.
Police diverted traffic around the accident scene.
The condition of the rider is unknown at the present time.
