Roundelay choir has raised over £2000 pounds for local causes this year and aim to continue their work for charity with their summer concert at Emmanuel church, 9th July at 7pm. Roundelay will sing alongside Sefton Youth Brass band and Deyes High school Gospel choir in an evening concert that will bring music to everyone’s ears. Proceeds from a retiring collection will go to Home Start (Southport and Formby branch) which is a charity which supports families and a small donation will go towards one of the choir member’s trip to work in an orphanage in Thailand in the summer. Given that this concert is full of young musicians and singers hoping to raise money to give other young children a better start in life, we hope that people will come along and join us for a wonderful evening of music.

Home-Start is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under 5 years of age.

Volunteers offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families under stress in their own homes to prevent family crisis and breakdown
