The train rides will pass over the dock swing bridge so you can view the boats in the Marina and then along the bank of the River Ribble for a three mile round trip. Every face is decorated to give it an individual appearance and a character of its own. Kids can have their faces painted too, free by Gina from Tigerfeet Entertainment, who has a wealth of designs to choose from. Over the weekend of 20/21 July come along and say ‘Hello’ and let us know which is your favourite face. Also on show in the main museum is the Prototype Deltic diesel locomotive which was built in Preston not far from the railway and on loan from the National Collection.
