Chapelhouse Motor Group is proud to be giving Queenscourt Hospice a helping hand by donating the use of a brand new Suzuki Vitara. The Ainsdale-based retailer has presented the charity with the car to help the hospice’s staff undertake their fundraising activities. The provision of the cars ensures that volunteers and employees at Queenscourt have the crucial support they need to keep the charity’s team mobile when attending fundraising events, meetings and conferences.

Nicola Hanna, Head of Income Generation at Queenscourt said ” We are delighted that Chapelhouse has chosen Queenscourt to benefit from the new car. It will be a massive help to both our clinical and fundraising teams, who are out and about in aid of the Hospice. This gesture is a lovely continuation of Chapelhouse’s generosity.”

Chapelhouse company Managing Director, Nick Coen, has always strived to give back something to the local community, and striking a deal with Queenscourt Hospice has been particularly beneficial to both parties.

Queenscourt, based in Town Lane Southport specialises in round-the-clock care for patients from the Southport, Formby and West Lancashire areas with serious illnesses. In addition to the in-patient unit and day therapy, the hospice also provides a valuable service known as Queenscourt at Home where patients are cared for in their own homes.

Less than a third of Queenscourt’s funding comes from the NHS, with the rest being made up by charitable donations received from local individuals and businesses, so access to a brand new car will definitely help raise both funds and the profile of the hospice.

The Vitara, which boasts features such as all-wheel drive, 18-inch alloy wheels and built-in SatNav, will also be visible in Southport’s shopping district on occasion, helping to promote both Queenscourt and Chapelhouse in the community.
