Queenscourt Hospice Charity Shop in Ormskirk has recently celebrated their 4th Birthday. Customers took part in a raffle which offered some great prizes donated by local businesses as well as receiving a huge 40% off all stock!

‘We are delighted with the support and generosity we receive from the local community and it was great to offer our customers the chance to bag some even bigger bargains in return for their support’ says current Manager Liz Perch. ‘Our staff and volunteers are doing a really great job, but we need more volunteers to help them in their efforts’.

We’re looking for people with a can-do positive attitude and who can commit to volunteering whether it is for a few hours every other week or a few days a week.  If you’re looking for a new challenge, want to help make a difference and have fun at the same time, then volunteering could be the thing for you. Volunteering offers the chance to meet new people, learn new skills and have the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping a vital local cause. The best bit is that absolutely no experience is necessary (we will provide full training)  – just cheerful enthusiasm!

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please pop in to the shop, call Pip or Natalie on 01704 501011 or email qcretail@queenscourt.org.net.
