Southport schoolboy reunited with his bike

Family and friends took to social media after Spencer had his bike stolen from Meols Cop School on Wednesday afternoon.

The Facebook post was shared hundreds of times and today the boys relative Katie Shepherd said:

“I’m so happy my nephew Spencer has been reunited with his bike. The power of social media! It was found on Stanley High school field and the caretaker finally tracked down my brother Nick. Thanks to everyone for sharing & liking”

 

Pupil has bike stolen from Meols Cop High School Southport

A Southport school boy had his bike stolen between 3:10pm – 3:15pm from the Meols Cop High School bike cage, Wednesday 21 Oct.

Dad, Nick said:

“My son’s mountain bike has been stolen, if anyone can help get it back for him I will be eternally grateful, Spencer is gutted”.

Anyone who knows of the bikes whereabouts can contact Meresyside police via the non-emergency 101 number. Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
