Police raided a house on the corner of Cobden Road and Wennington Road at around 6am this morning ( 30th July 2015). Local residents took to social media to express their concern about a police this early in the morning.
The road was closed off as the police carried out there investigation. A local resident said “I was looking out my window as i could hear shouting, as I looked out I saw a woman getting put into the police car and then they drove off.”
Police also were involved in another pre-planned raid on Canning road in Southport. The investigation is still ongoing but at this time no one has been arrested and nothing has been found in the house.
