Police warning of a spike in burglaries

We are suffering a spike in burglaries in West Lancashire with Aughton, Burscough and Scarisbrick hit in the last few days.

Please make sure your alarms are set, presents and valuables are hidden away and that lights are left on in the house while you’re out.

The burglaries are happening at all times during the day and night.

Please ring the police on 101 or 999 if you see suspicious activity, alarms go off or you disturb people in your garden.
