Police speed trap Waterloo Road, Southport

Police set up roadside speed traps in Southport today (Thursday 2 March) following complaints from local residents about speeding motorists.

Early on police were in Hesketh Drive, Churchtown, then they moved to Waterloo Road, Birkdale then onto other locations in the town.

A number of vehicles were pulled up and the drivers dealt with accordingly.
