We are trying to trace the driver of a car who drove off after being involved in a road collision in Preston.

At around 8pm on Sunday (8 November) a 12-year-old boy from Preston has been crossing Barry Avenue in Ingol when a he has been hit by a blue car.

The driver, described as a mixed race man, initially stopped at the scene but has then driven off without leaving any details.

The boy was taken to Manchester Children’s Hospital where he was treated for a head injury. His condition is not thought to be serious.
