• Three men dined at U-Thai restaurant on Lord Street, Southport

• They ate a three-course meal accompanied by beer and many cigarette breaks

• Diners then fled the popular Southport restaurant without paying the £150 bill but leave behind what is believed to be a stolen bank card

On Tuesday 1 September these three men had dinner and the drinks to the value of £150 at U-Thai, Lord Street then ran off without paying their bill.

The sheepish characters left behind a Southport branch bank card(below) that they gave to a waitress as a guarantee during one of many smoking breaks.

Merseyside police are aware of the incident and an investigation is underway. If anyone recognises these men you can contact Southport Police on 101.
