Police find body of missing Southport man Jason Fyles June 27th, 2013 admin Latest News Shares Comments Police believe they have found the body of missing Southport man Jason Fyles Police have confirmed that a body found in the River Tyne on Wednesday is thought to be that of 19-year-old student Jason Fyles. Although the body has not yet been formally identified. Andy McDyer, of Northumbria Police said: “Our thoughts are with Jason’s family and friends at this very d difficult time.” Jason was last seen during the early hours of Thursday, May 16th, when he visited the home of a friend in Sandyford, Newcastle. Jason posted a disturbing message on Twitter, which said: “I find it really sad that everyone that I tried to get help. From just. Turned. Their. Back.” Friends later reported him missing and when police contacted his family, relatives travelled from their home town of Southport on Merseyside to help with the search.
