Police called despondent female on Southport Pier

Merseyside police were called to Southport Pier at around 9:30pm last night to a report of a woman acting strangely, Monday 25 April 2016.

The woman was taken into safety shortly after 10:30pm.

Southport Lifeboat Quads were also tasked to assist Merseyside Police with the  despondent female on Southport Pier.

The Southport Lifeboat team down at 22:30 as the Police had located and assisted the casualty.
