Pleasureland saves Haus from a party disaster

The parents of 13 year-old Sammie Johnson booked a party at Haus (the former Bar none) in Waverley Street and up to 5.30pm yesterday (Saturday 28 Aug) her mother Allison Johnson was in touch with the organisers of the event.

Sammie’s mum Allison told OTSNews.co.uk “I arrived at the venue at 6.30pm to find out the venue was closed.

“Staff from the Beach Bar told me that it had been closed for a while. At 7.30pm 130 teenagers were due to arrive for a party and they had no party.

“Samantha and her friends rang everyone they knew and someone suggested Plesureland and the Casa Blanca.

“We managed to get in touch with Norman Wallis whose reaction was immediately to say yes he would help and within 30 minutes Samantha and her friends contacted all 130 girls and told them the new venue.”

“Norman opened the rides at the fairground and made the party one of the best parties ever!”
