A JustGiving page has been set up for the funeral of a Southport woman who has just a few months to live.
Vix Hope Shannon went to the doctors for an operation in the last few weeks only to be told her tumour had deteriorated so badly she only has a month or two left to live.
Her family are now trying to raise £3,000 to pay for her impending funeral so she can share stress-less quality time with her partner.
Vix said: “Just to let all my wonderful friends and family know that we’ve had a hell of a week as I went in for an operation on Monday only to be told that there is nothing they can do and that I have a month maybe two if I’m very lucky to live!
“The consultants both said they hadn’t seen a tumour of this type this big or growing so fast as this one is!
“So now it’s just pain relief and palliative care!
“It’s very hard to tell everyone and I’ll miss you all very much!”
