The emergency service were called to Old Park Lane at around 1.15pm following reports of car running head on into a lamp post today, Wednesday 8 April 2015.
A witness said:
“The man was overtaking a cyclist when he lost control and ran head on into a lamp post. Its Lucky no one else was injured”.
No other casualties were reported and the driver was taken to Southport hospital.
