Overflowing Street Bins in Southport

Residents along Roe lane are wondering if Sefton Council have gone on strike this week?

Judging by the number of street bins overflowing you would think that was the case.

As you can see in the photograph above this is just one of the bins overflowing in the Roe lane , Southport.

Resident, Louise Griffin said:  “This is disgusting, it’s okay for Sefton Council litter warriors to walk round with body cameras on handing out fines. This one rarely gets emptied – it’s disgraceful they want to practice what they preach!!!
