Organised gang raid Southport Pleasureland amusements

Southport Pleasureland amusement arcade was broken into early hours of Sunday morning (August 9).

This happened on one of the busiest days of the year. It is believed thousands of pounds was stolen from the fruit machine cash boxes.

A spokesperson from Southport Pleasurland said:

“We believe the burglary was carried out by an organised gang. The gang knew which cash boxes to go for”.

CCTV coverage is currently being studied.
