Yesterday (Tuesday 28 July)Sefton Council issued a Section 77 Direction notice under the Criminal Justice And Public Order Act 1994 to the Travellers on the Marine Drive Car Park.
Officers from Sefton Council met the camp marshall and served travellers notice to leave.
Sefton parking team have not issued any tickets on the illegally parked vehicles yet they remain very busy ticketing shoppers in the town centre.
