New hands at the helm at WLYC
The recent New Year’s celebrations brought with it a change at West Lancashire Yacht (WLYC). After a very busy and successful sailing season, the New Year rang in the succession of new President, Kit Robinson (Left) and Commodore Richard Barnes (Right).
The Club members also celebrated the success of the 50th Anniversary of their 24 hour dinghy race, which was held on Southport’s Marine Lake last September. It was another great achievement for the Club, with over 80 teams and competitors visiting Southport from all over the UK.
