NCP Car Park on London Street, Southport has not been accepting cash payment via machines since Christmas.

A number of drivers reported having to leave their vehicles inside the car park as they did not have a credit/debit card to make the payment.

One of the machine has been out of order since early November and the second cash payment machine since Christmas.

One car park customer said: “On Tuesday NCP staff collected cash at the barrier but when I tried to get out this evening it was card payment only which I did not have. I had to call for a relative to bring a card payment.”

OTSnews today tried contacting NCP head office who was unable comment on the current problem or Confirm when the payment system will be fixed.
