Four suspended after whistleblowing complaints at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital Trust
Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust have suspended four members of staff, including its Chief Executive, after complaints from whistleblowers.
The Chief Operating Officer, Human Resources Director and Deputy Director of Performance have also been excluded.
It follows an independent investigation into three separate whistleblowing complaints received by the Trust.
The Trust says the complaints ‘do not relate to issues of patient care or safety’.
It added:
‘Exclusion from work is not a disciplinary sanction but is a holding action pending the completion of an investigation.’
