United Utilities up sticks leaving motorists frustrated (Ainsdale – Southport).
Delays are again expected for the foreseeable future on the Coastal Road as it appears contractors have fled the job.
Two way traffic control is currently in operation.
Nigel Byrne, a Southport resident working in Liverpool said: “United Utilities why on one of the busiest few days with the National festival on there are still single lane lights when there is no evidence of any work done for last 3 days.”
“This is causing unnecessary hold up and frustration for everyone going both ways.”
Both Sefton Council and United Utilities has bee approached for a comment.
