17-year-old Miss Southport contestant Robyn Fawcett is hosing a talent show for the charity Variety which helps young children all over the UK with mental health issues and disabilities.
The charity will enable these children to try and overcome some of the problems they face on a daily basis, giving them the confidence to mix and confine in others and to participate and interact in a variety of activities and events.
Robyn said to OTSnews: “I have chosen this charity as there are so many children out there who are becoming very withdrawn causing the likes of depression and some are self harming. These children find it very difficult to open up and speak out about their problems as there is not enough help out there for them. Today all I am asking is for your support. I am holding a showcase of talent on May 11th at Southport colleges Theater in aid of the children’s charity variety.”
