Merseyside Police is appealing for information to help trace a missing 22-year-old man.

Josef Thompson was last seen at his home on St Michaels Church Road in Aigburth, Liverpool on Thursday, 10 November 2016. Extensive enquiries have been ongoing to locate him.

He is described as white, 6ft tall, of slim build and pale complexion. He has short black hair and brown eyes. When he was last seen Josef was wearing a black and white wool jumper with pixie hood, and blue running trainers. He often wears a 10mm earring in his left ear lobe.

He is known to have links to Liverpool, Huddersfield, Manchester and Cumbria.

Police officers are making extensive efforts to find Josef and return him home safely and would urge Josef, anyone who knows his whereabouts, or who has seen a male resembling him, to call police on 101.
