Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service called to Queenscourt Hospice Southport

Merseyside Fire And Rescue Service were called to Queenscourt, Southport, shortly after 13:45 today after the fire alarms were activated, Tuesday 7 June 2016.

Patients and staff were evacuated into the car park while the building was checked over by firefighters.

Two fire appliances from Southport Community Fire Station attended the scene.

Thankfully it proved to be a false alarm.

Firefighters left the scene at 14:15.
