At a public meeting on Monday evening, representatives from Merseyrail, Network Rail and the Architects presented the first draft proposals for the new Ainsdale Railway Station.
Below are a couple of architect’s drawings showing the proposals. As soon as we have any more we will let you see them. We have got hard copies which we will be displaying at our meeting next Wednesday if you wish to see them.

At the moment there are not sufficient funds to replace the footbridge, however it will be refurbished.
They listened to residents’ points of view and objections and said that they will take them into consideration and will let us know when they have firmer plans.
