Lord Street Resurfacing Regeneration

I should like to extend my warmest appreciations to both the dedicated relevant Departments at Sefton Council and local Contractor “Dowhigh” for having taken forward my request for the Southern Lord Street Roundabout interconnecting with Duke Street and Rotten Row to be resurfaced for the benefit of the local community.

After receiving numerous requests from both local residents and commuters especially that use this central gateway I have continued to liaise constructively together with the Departments responsible to achieve this positive outcome for all.

In addition to improving the carriageway surface the pedestrian crossing at Lord Street West linking with Lord Street shall also be renovated for the benefit of pedestrians. Just some of the other roads I have requested which are now receiving the necessary action include Duke Street itself and the Roundabout at Rotten Row.

Should anyone have any local issues or neighbourhood concerns I would recommend them to contact me directly as I am often in the area supporting local residents & businesses listening to and acting upon their views.
Should anyone wish to meet with me for a site visit I am always more than happy to arrange a meeting at a time mutually convenient in the near future. In the meantime many appreciations to once again to everyone, especially all dedicated individuals and the local business community who are supporting my ongoing Community Conservation Campaign to make Southport a brighter better place for all!
