The Post Office on Lord Street has now reopened, Thursday 4 February.
The Post Office will be operating normal opening hours, however the actual shop remains empty.
In January the popular Post Office closed unexpectedly:
“Spokesperson at that time said: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of the Post Office branch in Lord Street North. We would like to reassure customers that we are working hard to restore the service to the community as soon as possible and are committed to maintaining services in the area. In the meantime, customers can access Post Office services at Southport or Hesketh Drive branches.”
