Local MG Club Easter Eggstavaganza March 18th, 2016 jmr jmr Latest News Shares Comments This Thursday 17th was West Lancs MG Owners Club monthly meeting at Briars Hall Lathom and with Easter fast approaching and also warmer days on the horizon (fingers crossed). It was thought we would have a eggstra special night although with it also being St Patrick’s day we think (A pint of Guinness will be the outright winner). We had a Kitty Kat derby and it had to be held in relays so with the kitty’s names bought for a £1 each £30 was raised and a great deal of humour (all proceeds to go into club funds for making charitable donations) with the winner of each relay it was time for the grand finale with the eventual winners 1st Joyce 2nd Tom (prospective new member) and 3rd Ron.Along with our usual raffle we also had a special Easter Egg hamper made up by one of our members Gillian Kirton to be won by some lucky winner again tickets purchased were £1 with £75 raised for her chosen local charity Twinkle House with the cheque to be presented at a later date. And the lucky winner was ?????Cam Cunniningham seen here being presented with the chocolate easter hamper. Thanks go out to the members for giving so generously and to Mandy and Jamie for providing the kitty’s and the race litter lane and overseeing the event. So with the Guinness drank the chocolate melting and the lucky four leaf clover wilting it was time to kiss the Blarney Stone goodbye till next year.
