Local business owner, Paul Rothwell, of Paul Rothwell Bathrooms, answered the clubs plea for help during the summer. The sponsorship enabled the club to purchase new football kits for the newly recruited six and seven year olds who are now enjoying their first season playing football in the Mid Lancashire Junior Colts league. Martin Davies, Manager of the Hesketh Bank Under 7’s team, said: “It’s fantastic that a local business wants to support Grassroots Junior Football. Without the support of people like Paul, we wouldn’t be able to bring new teams into the club and give children living in the area the opportunity to play football. The children are really proud of their new kits and we’re extremely grateful to Paul Rothwell Bathrooms for stepping up to help this season.” New sponsor, Paul Rothwell, said: “My own children have played football with Hesketh Bank Football Club for a number of years, so I know first-hand the benefits of them being involved with such a friendly and supportive club. I was more than happy to offer my support by sponsoring the next generation of Hesketh Bank Football Club players.” Submit News Contact us with your community, business or sport news.
