Lifeboat Lotto canvassers will be signing up new players in the Southport area

The Southport Lifeboat would like to make people aware that Canvassers for the Southport Lifeboat lotto will be out in the Southport area recruiting new members  from Monday 24th May.

For less than the price of a pint every week, players can be in with the chance of winning up to £5000.

Set up in 2010, Lifeboat Lotto provides a funding to the Southport Lifeboat and has raised nearly £200,000 so far.

The money is used towards training and new equipment which of course ultimately saves lives. Most recently, the Lotto has paid for a new set of engines for the Lifeboat and two new Honda Quad Bikes.

Lifeboat Lotto would like to stress that the canvassers can be identified by their Lifeboat Lotto ID badges and clothing and they will be signing up new members by standing order only – not collecting cash.
